Madison, WI—November 4, 2008—Dedicated to minimizing their environmental footprint Resource Solutions Corp (RSC), celebrated 20 years of recycling in the community by attaining ISO 14001:2004 certification. RSC became certified for all operations and activities at its three locations, in Madison, Appleton, and Columbus, Wisconsin. Internationally recognized and independently audited, ISO 14001:2004 certification demonstrates dedication to continual improvement in their environmental performance, and adherence to an Environmental Management System.
“It makes sense as a leader in the recycling community, that we should also be a leader in managing our effects on the environment around us,” said Amanda Wilmarth, RSC’s Vice President of Corporate Development, as well as the business’ Environmental Management Representative. “Minimizing our footprint not only makes sense environmentally in the long run, but it also helps us operate our business more efficiently and cost-effectively in the tighter economy.”
The certification audit was completed this October by Verisys Registrars, out of Brookfield, Wisconsin.
